Dishwasher Filter Cleaning

The filter near the bottom of the dishwasher or under the lower spray arm needs to be cleaned on a routinely basis. Look at your owner’s manual for directions on how to remove and clean it. If there are holes, make sure to replace it. This will give protection to the pump and motor seals from particles in the dishwasher.

Dishwasher Spray Arm Cleaning

After a while, the small holes in the dishwasher’s spray arm(s) can get clogged with glass, toothpicks, and/or bits of paper etc. For a more thorough dish cleaning, spend a few minutes every once in a while cleaning out these small holes.
