If your problems are bit more complicated than the ones outlined here you do well to contact the Jenn-Air refrigerator repair team, so that you do not end up with a much more serious problem on your hands.

Problem: I have a Jenn-Air side-by-side refrigerator with filtered ice and water. The red replace filter light on the outside of the refrigerator refuses to go off even after I change the water filter. What should I do?

Solution: Thankfully this is not a very complicated issue. The water filter indicator just needs to be reset. To do this press down both the Water button and the Lock button and hold them down for about 4 seconds. The green filter indicator light flashing three times indicates a successful reset.

Problem: I have a Jenn-Air bottom freezer French door refrigerator. After I changed the water filter I noticed there was white debris floating in the water. What’s wrong?

Solution: Another issue that is fairly easy to solve. Do you have a hard water problem? The water filter does not always remove hard water buildup and lime scale. A water softener is the best way to solve this problem.

Problem: The defrost tray in my refrigerator is moldy and some parts of it are hard to clean. What should I do?

Solution: If you are unable to fully access your defrost tray to clean it off try removing the kick panel in order to get access to the defrost tray. You can also pour water and bleach into the tray in order to kill the mold, then once it dries you can blow the mixture out with air pressure.

Problem: My Jenn-Air bottom freezer French door refrigerator has ice around the door and the food is frosty, but my freezer is only set to three. What’s wrong?

Solution: If warm air is getting into the freezer it can cause frost to form on food. Quite often this is caused when the door is not closing properly. Check around the door to make sure nothing is preventing it from closing properly. Open the upper door and check the top of the drawer. Make sure the gasket is hitting the steel frame of the fridge cabinet. Also check all seals around the front of the drawer.
